Max Griggs

Interests are in New Writing, re-imagining Classical Theatre, Musicals, Movement, Devised Theatre, Queer Theatre and Feminist Theatre. I enjoy creating experimental work that plays with a variety of different forms and structures. In my rehearsal rooms I establish a professional environment that encourages play and builds the ensemble. I believe it is the directors job to establish a room of care that seeks to nurture and guide other creatives in creating a shared world on stage. "Behind every Idea is a Deeper Idea" is the motto I work by, and I always want to encourage the work to become imaginative and detailed.
